  •     High consistency. Demonstrates exceptional intra- and inter-batch consistency for lateral wicking rates, making test development more predictable.
  •     Long shelf life. No significant performance change within 18 months of storage under ambient conditions, simplifying membrane handling and storage operations.
  •     Product versatility. Strong results regardless of capture reagent or analyte type. Can be utilized in virtually all tests.

Immunopore Membranes


Immunopore is a plastic-backed nitrocellulose membrane. A proprietary polymer is included in the membrane matrix to ensure rapid rewetting and low background signal, eliminating protein-binding interference commonly experienced with surfactants.

Nitrocellulose Membranes


Nitrocellulose membranes are a key functional part of lateral-flow assays. The membrane must provide sufficient protein binding to enable the production of a sharp and intense capture line, but at the same time the level of nonspecific background must be low for easy interpretation of results. Nitrocellulose membranes are available in a range of wicking rates and formulations. It has long been known that the wicking rate of a membrane has a significant impact on test sensitivity.
